Homework 22The FITT principles are an exercise regimen that will help people understand how hard and long they should exercise. FITT principle (frequency, intensity, time, and type) of exercise is a framework for exercise prescription. A general recommendation is to accumulate at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise on most days of the week (total of 150 minutes per week)(“FITT principle”, 2016). The intriguing aspect of the FITTness plan is it can be as general or specific as you would like. The four physical fitness sections are cardiorespiratory, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. When you are creating a custom-made FITTness plan, it is important to understand the number of exercises to choose from. That is what makes this plan intriguing. You can personalize it not just exercise, but exercises that you enjoy. When you are creating a plan for yourself, you also need to consider your consistent improvement. You should always be improving your physical fitness level. When I created my personal FITTness plan, I kept in mind that I work out at a high intensity. If you work at a high intensity, you will work out in shorter sessions and less days a week. If you would at a lower intensity, your work our sessions will be longer, and you will workout more days a week. My FITTness plan was developed from my previous soccer career.
