There arevarious reasons why communication skills are important for accounting students. First, is toenhancement in teamwork and collaborative attitude (Vijay Sharma, 2020). Communication skills helpaccounting students in their studies, social networking, career development, workplace and jobinterviews. In the future accounting students will communicate with clients via in-job video and audio.If they are not effective in social engagement, then it will have a negative impact. That is whyaccounting students need to improve their communication skills while they are in college.Besides that, according to Vijay Sharma (2020), communication skills can also help in careerdevelopment. Clear communication of skills and knowledge, objective vocabulary in words whilecommunicating with interviewers can help accounting students get a job after graduation because manystudents have their communication problems in the interviews. So, if we better in learningcommunication skill it helps them build careers in their respective fields. In addition, communicationskills can improve in presence of mind and memory enhancement. When we communicate, listen andunderstand what we are talking about, it will increase the presence of our minds.During communicate when we focus on the audience rather than on a mobile phone then it willhelp improve brain power and memory. Students requires brain power and memory sharp to succeed ineverything they want to do and to achieve their dreams. Most important of all life skills is being able tocommunicate effectively. It may be written, outspokenly, visually or non-verbally. It is also a mixtureof all that in reality. Communication, or simply passing messages, is not the same as broadcasting(Vijay Sharma, 2020). It is a system called communication in two way. In other terms, bothtransmitting and receiving information are involved.
Therefore, both speaking and listening are required, but a common understanding of theinformation being delivered and received may also be more crucially built. If you are the sender ofcontent, to clearly the information we need to ask either, there is any questions to the listeners to verifythe comprehension of your listeners. You must listen to their comments too and explain more ifnecessary. But if you are the receiver, it involves listening carefully to the data, then ensuring that youhave heard by reflect back or asking questions to ensure that both of you have the same understandingof the issue.
