I think that the difference between building a passenger aircraft, a four-lane highway bridge, and the firstversion of Microsoft Word is very simple. Yes, the first version of Microsoft Word now feels like it should have taken less power and resources to finish than the aircraft or bridge. However, I think we need to take into account that when an aircraft or bridge is being built, the engineers already have blueprints andexperience in building aircrafts or bridges. They already have solutions to potential issues that may arise during the manufacturing or building process. They have books that they can turn to, and people that they can ask questions to.
