What exciting information would you like to learn about the Hebrew and the Greek community? From 3000 B.C. to 476 A.D., many civilizations were created, bronze was introduced, the practice of religion, Jesus was born, slavery, Rome created, and somephilosophers who shaped some of the major histories of this era. The Hebrew community was a very known community when it came to the times during the Old Testament in the Bible. Although they did have slaves, these slaves did have rights that had to be respected by the people that owned them. The Greek community was a very known community with a majority of Athenians. The Athenians invented democracy, a new type of government where every citizen could vote on important issues, such as whether or not to declare war. Treating each other with love and respect wasthe findings of Christ's teachings when it came to slavery.Although the Hebrew community and Greek community had superficial similarities, their differences of slavery and practices of how we should treat each other according to Christ are very clear. The Hebrews and the Greeks had very different views when it came to slavery and different ways of treating the people that they had as slaves. While one community could keep a slave for the rest of its life, the other created ways of teaching obedience to a slave. We are all created equal in Christ
