We live in a country that is supposed to be a christian nation yet we have millions of
homeless people, and according to an article from Forbes “U.S. Healthcare” ranked us last.
About 30 years ago, America prided itself in being a middle class country. Within the last 30
years things have changed tremendously. 740 Park Avenue located in NY, is home to some of
the wealthiest Americans. There are billionaires located at Park Avenue, but about Across the
Harlem River, 10 minutes to the north, is the other Park Avenue in South Bronx, where more

than half the population needs food stamps and children are 20 times more likely to be killed. In
the last 30 years, inequality has rocketed in the US. When is too much inequality enough?
According to the Macrosociological Perspective, social class divides people by Income,
Education, Occupation Prestige, Social Status, Ascribed, and Achieved. Your social class
defines you by your income, and titles. They were telling the truth where they said money is the
root of all evil. Not mentioning that just because you are a billionaire, you are evil but what good
does it do you being wealthy when you can’t powerfully help others? We live in a country where
you “get it how you live it.” With that being said, what are the odds of someone living in South
Bronx ending up living on 740 Park Avenue? Rapper Jay-Z was raised in Brooklyn’s drug-
