Hospital health IT leaders must ensure that EHR implementation plans take these benefits goals into consideration. By training users in these goals, supressing any user resistance, and setting up dashboards to monitor progress, health IT teams can ensure the actual EHR technology is ready to help the organization reach its clinical benefits goals. Also, hospitals must implement plans to ensure longevity for these goals. Once EHR benefits have been realized, organization leaders should transition the tasks to the operations team to ensure long-term sustainment [Sar18]. Importantant Factors in Vendor Selection The steering committee will develop vendor criteria that will be used to evaluate the vendor proposals. The vendors will be required to submit vendor qualifications, proposed solutions, criteria for evaluating proposals, contractual requirements, and pricing and support. The leadership will have to decide to stay with a single vendor for supporting both hospital and primary settings based on the needs of the organization, not individuals. The final recommendation of the leadership committee will not be based on the score report however, based on the mutual trust that has been developed over time stakeholders (Wager et nal., 2013).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
