the memories that they have shared and would cause harm to the wife as well as the patient. C. Personal beliefs and values. My personal beliefs really did not have a factor in the decision. I don’t agree with what Mr. Holcomb has been doing, but it is not my place to judge nor is it my place to tell anyone his business. I’m ultimately there to make the best experience for the patient and family in the time of need. I want to make the experience both rewarding to the patient and the family and not to cause any undue harm. I did use my personal value of honest; I don’t believe in lying for the good of others. D. Promoting self-care strategies. Message therapy is a useful stress reducing self-care strategy that helps alleviate stress that can build-up in our bodies/muscles making one more prone to injury. Yoga is another self-care strategy that can help distress the mind, body, and spirit. Talking to one another can help eliminate work-related stress and can help ease one’s mind. Exercising is another great way to eliminate stress that is beneficial to the overall health of an individual.
