has a voice it is just a matter of how they use it. Gender: Female students overpower male students 58 percent to 42 percent. There are around 6 thousand males to 8 and a half thousand females on Baylor’s campus. I asked several people who had different opinions on how they are stratified. Most people I asked believe that there should be two genders and whatever you are born with that’s what you should be identified with. Males are typically represented with positions of power just because of its traditional context. Men have always had a gender role that suggests masculinity and leadership roles. However, there are women leaders who play a huge part in society including the president of Baylor University. In conclusion, Baylor is considered a more diverse college. The majority of students who “rule” Baylor are middle to upper class students which are mostly white. That being said we all 2
Taylor came to Baylor with a goal and a purpose, our Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Social class does not necessarily assist one over the other. I learned from this project that Baylor has roles for all classes and ethnic groups, giving everyone a space to feel accepted into. 3
