Determining when to treat, and when to refer To classify orthodontic problems and determine treatment urgency Mar 22 nd (Friday) 1pm-2pm Final Assessment Grading Criteria: The minimum passing grade is a 70% composite score including all course elements. • 70% or higher = Pass • < 70% = Not Pass* (NP) * Students who receive an NP grade in the course will be required to complete a remediation program. A student who fails to complete remediation in a timely and acceptable manner may be asked to repeat the course. Students scoring in the top 20% may be eligible for Honors. Honors will be given to the students receiving the three highest scores in the final assessment. The remaining Honors grades will be given to students within the top 20% in total course score with the most exemplary weekly assignment submissions. High quality weekly assignment submissions may also result in a passing grade for students scoring less than 70% in the composite score. Remediation Policy: The student must take and pass a make up exam.
