As the campaigning continues, polls are continuing to be done, currently Gillum seems to be getting higher polls than DeSantis, but only by a few points. Gillum’s’ RCP Average is 47.5, while DeSantis has 44.3. 6 Although Gillum is winning the polls as of now, I believe it is still very possible for DeSantis to win, just like Trump did in his presidential election against Clinton. In that Presidential Election, the polls were proven to the people to not be trusted, as every poll was showing to be in Clintons favor, but in result Trump still won. Therefore I strongly believe that the polls don’t give a definite answer for who is winning. Another important part of campaigning is the finances needed in order to actually be able to win. Ron DeSantis currently only raised $208,014 but has spent close to 2 million dollars. 7 Andrew Gillum has raised $254,482 from a total of 1,130 contributors, and he spent around 2 million dollars as well. 8 Funding and money play a crucial role in running as a candidate and it is impossible to run without finances. Campaigns, staff, advertisements, offices to hold meetings, and traveling to each state and city to meet your supporters is all very costly. The more money a candidate has the more he can do to reach out to communities and gain their support. Each candidate has their own website where they can represent themselves and allow the community to learn about who they are and what they stand for. Both Gillum and DeSantis use their website platform to discuss their childhood, background, and history of education and public service. Of course, neither of them misses the opportunity to share about their

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
