does she choose to present herself so differently?
Blanche lives a different life from her reality. She draws a lot of attention with mainly her
sincere and mostly fragile personality which can be depicted as well to be illusionistic and thus
of her own mind. This implies that she lives a life of illusions so that she can have the ability to
protect herself from the threats which are coming from the outside of her own fears. She is
additionally full of lies which are depicted by her song of the moon which she uses mostly to
manipulate others.
Further, with her song, she explains about her life which indubitably full of lies which are
used mainly to make Stanley believe her and more so to make him happy. Since she is leaving a
double life, she has had her imagination to compose the song so that Stanley can believe her
especially her mendacity which coherently makes her happy. Moreover, her delusions are in no
doubt helpful to her as it helps her to flashback on her childhood memories where she was
