Serving communities of color, immigrants and refugees, other minority/vulnerable communities, and/or low-wage workers by neighborhood, community, industry, or other grouping. 4
For organizations planning to partner with multiple organizations to deliver services: Include a list of those organizations, the intended role each organization will play within the collaboration and the projected amount of financing each partner will receive as part of the collaboration. 2. Describe which Seattle communities your outreach and education will target, and what makes your organization well suited to provide services in those communities: How is your organization or collaboration’s approach to targeted community outreach and education different from or complementary to other organizations providing similar services? Please provide examples of previous outreach, education, technical assistance, case referral, complaint resolution, and other services. What methods and strategies does your organization or collaboration employ to provide targeted outreach and education, community/worker engagement, and/or violation complaint resolution services? Please outline the outreach strategies that you will use to engage your target community, communities or industries. How would your organization endeavor to collaborate with the Office of Labor Standards, as well as align efforts with other City departments, and/or other organizations both within your collaborative and outside your collaborative? What are your member and volunteer roles/responsibilities? How will this funding build capacity in your organization to carry out this work? For organizations that received funding from OLS through the Community Outreach and Education Fund in 2015 – 2016 : Describe key lessons learned from successes and challenges this past year, and how your previous work will inform your strategy for this proposal. If your organization receives funding from other City departments: Describe, if relevant, how the work proposed will align with or compliment your organization’s other City-funded activities . 3.
