up with them as well as all individuals ought to expect a weakening of their abilities as time goes by. When the abilities deteriorate, the ageing individuals begin disengaging in social activities and a loose touch of social norms which determine their interactional aspects ( Gini, Pozzoli & Hymel 2014). Narrowing down the social circle of a person increases their disengagement process. Consequently, the ageing individuals end up disconnecting themselves from responsibilities and social roles existing and fail to take the new ones. The social disengagement process is usually influenced by an ageing individual as well as society. People ageing lose skills and knowledge and eventually not being able to meet the societal requirements for social roles ( Obermann 2011).
