and data-management companies would be able to improve their techniques as well. All of these third-party vendors would cost extra money which is the downfall and related to financial costs. In efforts to maintain the status quo with the centralized training and development, this would provide current employees and patients with satisfaction that their loyalty is being taken into account while making these changes so that the health system doesn’t lose either the patients, employees, and community hospitals or even worse all 3. Critical success factors would be leadership support, a supportive environment, communication, vendor support, clear goals and objectives, and dedicated resources. A development department and centralized training would support a culture of “system- ness” by organizing the training function into a single group which would emphasize the collective goal of the health system. In this case, a horizontal organization would be implanted which is employee-centered and focuses on teamwork, workplace culture, job satisfaction, and leadership. This would be good for the hospital as it would help the CEO, John Shea, accomplish his goal of enhancing system-focused thinking and decision making. References:

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
