This effect made the film more powerful and engaging since it is like if it were a movie and a documentary combined into one. Instead of simply conducting interviews and recording what people had to say about the event, the scenes showed the viewer what occured while listening to the subject describe each detail about it. Although it would have also been interesting to be able to imagine the scenes instead of watching a recreation of what happened by listening into what the subjects are saying, the arrangement of the scenes along with the interviews definitely made a positive impact on me and made the film prove that it deserved the Oscar for the best documentary. I found the film very entertaining from the very beginning. The interviews showed how passionate this group of people were about doing this feat, especially Petit. He is one of the most engaging characters in the film because of the way that he illustrates what he says while being

Juliao 3 interviewed. He proceeds to act out what happened back then and narrates with suspense and excitement. This was particularly shown when he is talking about when they are at the 104th floor of the Twin Towers, but they have to stay hidden from a guard that is surrounding the area.
