In the case of the Latinos immigrants, the clients disclosed their immigration encounters which are vital to the counselor in building a counseling relationship. The counselor can understand the client’s background, encounters, fears, and happiness in their life. The disclosure will develop trusts between the client and the counselor which is vital in learning and understanding the client encounters (Serrata, et al., 2013).
