INFORMATION: Remote Console Software and RedirectionILOM provides access to the host console via redirection of the host console output to the ILOM user's device. There are 2 host console streams - graphical and serial. BIOS will display on both and can be interacted with on both. The OS will display different output to both depending on how it is configured. Both may need to be accessed simultaneously to see all OS output during installation etc. Where the expected output only goes to Graphical, this is described in this checklist using the term "ILOM Graphical Console". Where the expected output only goes to Serial, this is described in this checklist using the term "ILOM Serial Console". Where the expected output may appear on either or both, this is described in this checklist usingthe term "host console".
