Most of the group's philosophies are based on belief. The terrorist group insists that it is important for individuals to return to the pure practice of the religion. More so, it claims that it is the duty of any Muslim to engage in violent jihad. Consequently, all the groups are determined to use any means to create a world that is purely Islamic. Nonetheless, there exist differences between the group and ISIS. Females in the Al-Qaeda-dominated areas are marginalized, but they have access to education (Shultz, 2013). Additionally, there are signs of progression for members of this gender. On the other hand, the ISIS group views women as possessions. The group does not allow them to get educated and most of them are victims of sexual assault. Al-Qaeda has worked together with other groups such as Egypt's Islamic Jihad (Shultz, 2013). Most of its activities have involved attacking the US. The group has developed training camps in nearly all parts of the world. Its agents have paramilitary skills and most of them have
