vacation bible school. There is not a social security office or welfare/WIC
office in the town of Willis, Texas. The closest of the facilities is located
nearby in Conroe, Texas approximately 10 minutes away.

access these services ?
There are many family health practice offices located in town. There are also
dentist offices in strip centers throughout town. There is not a mental health
facility located in Willis. The nearest mental health facility is located nearby
in downtown Conroe, approximately 12 minutes away. There is a small
chiropractors office located in an empty strip center. It is the only on noted in
town. There are healthcare stores such as GNC and a locally owned vitamin
and herb shop. There is not an Emergency center in Willis but there is a St.
Luke’s Emergency Urgent Care just a minute’s drive down the road in
Conroe. An optometrist office was also noted in Willis within a shopping
center.

Do you see any fire and police services/equipment/officers? Where are
the closest fire and/or police stations ?
There is only one Fire station noted within the 77318-zip code of Willis.
There is a very small police station, located near the railroad tracks and the
town maniple office. The police station was not clearly identified and didn’t
resemble a police station at all. I almost past by it without realizing what it
was. The only identification were the police cars outside the office. Both the
police station and the Fire Station are located directly in town and are easily
accessible.

Where is the nearest public library? Discuss the Schools and
Universities/Community colleges ?
The nearest library is located on Old Danville road next to Taco Bell. There
are three elementary schools within town and two on the outskirts of town.
One past the railroad tracks on Rogers Road, and one on the other side of the
freeway (IH 45) on Co. Rd. 830. The Highschool located in town near one of
the elementary schools, the middle school is located next to the other
elementary school on Co. Rd. 830, and the junior high is tucked in town near
the football field, tennis, and baseball fields. The district is ranked as a 4A
school district. There are not any colleges or community colleges within
Willis. The nearest community college center is located in Conroe on Co. Rd.
3083 about 10 minutes away. The closest University is located in Huntsville,
