4. Inspect and describe the tympanic membranes bilaterally, using the otoscope, for color and shape, and landmarks. Tympanic membrane visible with shiny light grey appearance bilaterally. Cone of light noted a 5 o’clock in the right ear and 7 o’clock in left ear. Membrane intact. No swelling or bulging noted. No redness noted. Patient denies any pain or tenderness upon inspection.
