Once an issue has been fixed, the product team is able to push out a patch for all Apple 5G Wi-Fi systems. The company can have users approve to update the system from their device, or have it automatically updated over 5G Wireless. This process effectively creates a hands-free improvement process for the user. d. Consumer Feedback Loop Finally, Apple should utilize consumer feedback loops for the Apple 5G Wi-Fi system. Consumer feedback loops are one of the primary methods for individual consumers to interact and provide feedback to the company. Apple will be able to take the feedback of many individuals and analyze them to see if there are ways for the company to improve the user experience. With the evolution of social media, communication over the internet is one of the primary ways for these consumers to give their feedback to the company. Companies are able to interact with consumers on websites such as Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, and Instagram. Many companies have a website based chat that allows users to give their feedback or troubleshoot issues. Feedback from consumers is relayed across the company to the specific function in Apple. Improvements can be made to the specific portions of the product and either pushed out in a patch or improved in a new generation of the product. III. Refinement: Other Factors As the company moves forward with Apple 5G Wi-Fi system, the company must consider some other outlying factors in order to refine the product. The first refining factor that the company must consider is the development of 5G Wireless infrastructure. In 2017, “[Verizon Wireless] trialed 5G residential applications in 11 cities in 2017, including Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, and Sacramento. (Rayome 2017)” As of early 2018, 5G Wireless infrastructure is

currently only being installed in Sacramento, California. As 5G Wireless begins to expand, Apple must consider how fast infrastructure will be installed. The faster 5G becomes widely available to consumers, the faster Apple must push this product from development to market. Although 5G Wireless may be limited to a few select cities, Verizon and AT&T have expressed interest in expanding. Apple must also consider how fast consumers adopt 5G Wireless and forego landline broadband connections. The rate at which consumers adopt 5G Wireless could impact early market share and sales numbers for the Apple 5G Wi- Fi system. The rate of adoption could drastically impact projected sales numbers. If 5G Wireless explodes in popularity and adoption, then Apple can capitalize on prospective value. However, if 5G Wireless adoption is slow, then the sales numbers will be lower but progressively increase. A third factor that Apple must consider is potential extinction of Wi-Fi. As 5G Wireless continues to develop and improve, one of the potential impacts of the technology is the fact that Wi-Fi may become obsolete in favor of better broadcasted 5G Wireless. If this development becomes a reality shortly after 5G
