infomercials have had negative effects on what people believe to be true beauty as well. From famous celebrities posting the best of the best on their instagram, to infomercials hosting an almost nude man with chiseled abs, razor sharp jawlines and deep killer eyes only to promote a new Prada cologne. People are ugly; plainly put. Photos seen on social media and on television are not actually what they look like in real life. That look is given by large amounts of makeup, perfect lighting and Photoshop. Models and influencers waste and spend countless hours taking and waiting for the perfect picture, which does not stop there as they change it even further before they feel comfortable posting it online for the world to see. The issue specifically with today's beauty standards is that there is no possible way for a person to reach them with healthy habits. Beauty is no longer natural, rather derived from surgery and Photoshop. For those who are better off with their personal attributes and qualities though, in specific we will be talking on behalf of men. A cut jaw line, deep eyes, fair height and a pleasing figure opens many opportunities against their competition. Men with attractive qualities, on professional accounts, are on average more likely to land jobs, to make money and to get promotions than their less attractive counterparts. much time and effort into every small detail of themselves that they do not like. Why not just look at the good in your body and base you reactions and attitude off of that. Why look up to
