Without statistics, health care workers are working blind without knowing the proper ways to perform tasks, prevent errors, and prevent infections. Doctors and nurses rely on the most accurate and up to date research to ensure safe and positive patient outcomes. As long as health care is practiced based on research and evidence-based care, statistics will remain significant in all aspects of health care. References
