Thanks for posting such valuable information, According to Laureate Education, Inc. (2012), getting a comprehensive patient history about the type of headache such as age, time of day, frequency, quality, location, and the precipitation factors as well as the relieving factors. The social and family history as pertains to the headache is also very important. Migraine headache is a neurological condition that has many distinct sign and symptoms such as, throbbing head pain, nausea, appetite changes, photophobia, and moderate to severe pain that can be disabling (Arcangelo,2017). I have seen tricyclic antidepressants work at a very low dose like 50 mgs for prophylactic therapy.

Active listening is an interpersonal communication skill that improves with practice (Marquis & Huston, 2015). Learning to listen takes time, patience, and commitment. Communication is essential to the workings of a successful team. The team leader should lead by example and express clear expectations. Group members also have a responsibility to conduct themselves in such a way that the team is enhanced. If a healthy work environment is to be achieved at the clinic level, current and future nurses in these clinical-level roles and the nurse manager role will need development and mentoring (Sherman & Pross, 2010).
