The authors Snyder and Stark (2012) suggest cellular communication mobile code division multiple access technology, (CDMA) has swiftly advanced in the recent years. Next, this case study will determine three ways which companies utilize such technologies to improve business efficiency. One example of a business that has capitalized through these innovative technologies is ADT Security. They offer a product called Pulse. It combines window sensor and door sensors. They also use indoor/outdoor video cameras. They also use wireless adapters for thermostats, lamps, and dimmer switches to create a wide-spread home security and automation solution. This new technique also has an app to allow users to control Pulse away from home. Another example is adding mobile payment options for customer convenience. Some small businesses use tablet or cell phone to take credit card payments. T-Mobile, is now offering cloud based services for their customers. It has features such as voicemail, Caller ID, and conference bridges.
