6. I found it very interesting that women often dominate the work force in other countries. In the United States I always seem to think: “men run the country”.

Being a female, I love to challenge this common belief but I think we can all agree that it is very different to think of women truly running almost all aspects of the work force. It the film is stated that men are then forced to cross the border to the U.S. and attempt to find jobs there. However, the film established that U.S. jobs are moving towards only being for the “skilled”. So now what do men do? In my opinion there is a positive and a negative side: perhaps this will cause more men to attend school and become skilled and therefor find jobs, but if they do not obtain more schooling they could be without work. In a perfect world, I believe the best person to do the job should be chosen, regardless of gender or education, however, we see in the film that the motivation is reducing costs in order to benefit the company rather than improve work in order to benefit the company.
