4. Modeling theory suggests that we learn aggressive and violent behavior. Do you think that violence in the media (including movies, television, and video games) has any effect on criminal behavior? Why or why not? Do you think that anything should be done to censor violence in the media? I do believe violent media can affect aggressive behavior, especially if they’re involved with violent media from a young age. Seeing that kind of behavior and getting used to it might train the brain to see it as being more acceptable. I don’t believe violent media should be censored, however, because it is all at your own risk. 5. Eysenck argues that certain personality types are more likely to engage in criminal behavior. Do you think that our personalities contribute to whether we commit crimes or not? Why or why not? To a certain extent, personality types can contribute to whether we commit crimes or not. For example, I do believe psychopaths are more likely to commit crimes but that doesn’t mean every psychopath will. Having a lack of remorse makes it very hard to understand why crime can be damaging. When you’re mad at someone but don’t think about how hurting them could hurt other people, things can get really really bad.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
