There are various temples scattered all along the Middle East that are a beauty to behold. Their architecture was really impressive for those times, and it has influenced quite a lot architecture of modern era. Economy For Phoenicians, economy was greatly important. Many historians say that “Phoenicians invented trade” and it has been largely accepted by society. They were the greatest seafaring civilization from that era. Actually, the word “Phoenician” means “People of the sea in Greek. Their trading activities consisted on 3 main things: 1) They exported material (mostly plants and food) from their traditional homeland. 2) They collected fees from shipping minerals, like silver, using their trade network on the Mediterranean. 3) They controlled in every aspect
