Surname 2 agreement for an unnationalistic foreign policy, an agreement drastically destabilized by the experience in Vietnam, would significantly be reinstated now that debates and policies stirred by an unwarranted for fear of collectivism could be securely retired. Thirdly it is assumed that in the fresh post-Soviet tactical environment, the danger of war would be radically diminished. All these three assumptions are misguided. The abrupt post-Cold War globe is not multipolar but unipolar. The focus of globe power is the unopposed superpower, the United States, joined by its Western partners. Additionally, the internationalist agreement is under new attack. The attack this time not only comes from the typical pockets of post-Vietnam substantial seclusion for instance the religious institutions but from a renaissance of 1930’s style conventional seclusion. Lastly, the emergence of a different strategic setting, marked by the growth of small hostile states armed with armaments of mass annihilation and having the means to free them makes the future decades a time of intensified, not reduced, risk of war. Other opponents also argue that in spite of the huge portion of these economic flows, there is a highly volatile, short-term and projected, global finance that has become the most susceptible and unsteady aspect of the global industrial economy. The huge velocity, scale and projected nature of financial engagements through national borders have made countries more susceptible to rapid shifts in these engagements. Countries can hence easily fall prey to money speculators, as it happened in the European financial crisis in 1992 which made Great Britain to draw from the Exchange Rate Mechanism and in the shattering East Asian financial disaster in the late 1990s. They argue that the global financial system is out of control and requires improvement in its regulation.

Surname 2 Contrary to these views, I think the economic globalization that the United States drove at after this historically unprecedented position of 1991 demonstrates the beneficial and healthy triumph of global capitalism. The citizens of the United States have benefited from this economic globalization by having to export their goods to other nations as well as enjoying imports from other nations. Removal of money controls and drive toward an international financial system along with elimination of barriers to FDI have also enhanced the movement toward both regional and international integration of manufacturing and services. In both industrializing and industrialized economies, increasing pro-market thinking has powerfully influenced monetary policy to decrease the duty of the state in the economy. In conclusion, Economic globalization is one undertaking that the United States used in the historically unprecedented position of 1991 to improve the globe and advance the lives of American people which was driven by political, technological and economic developments.
