Efficiency is an undeniable element in WMS, which we consider auto-conveyer as one of our choice of special features to enhance the efficiency. Auto-conveyor reduces the need for manpower. It is convenient to add items, notes and select the customer or supplier for your purchase or sales order. This may improve the efficiency and is environmentally friendly when compared to the paper file. It is much less time-consuming to find out the order and customer information.For the putaway management, the WMS could utilize the optimum locations for the stocks received in the warehouse automatically. Also in the picking management, the WMS could decide the best location for picking. With this system, we do not have to waste time on finding a

GCSS Army is a state-of-the-art, web-based, logistics, and finance system based upon commercial best business practices and off-the- shelf (SAP) software. GCSS Army will serve as an automated combat enabler for soldiers. GCSS-Army is integrated with Department of Defense financial systems and provides highly precise cost management and financial visibility for tactical material and sustainment.According to the article written by an anonymous author, Toyota needed warehousing software that would automatically allocate storage locations for every incoming part according tosize and frequency of demand. They chose a system that could make that happen. The article stated that not only did they chose a WMS that could track parts location and produce a tag label,which could give part details and subsequent locations (Anonymous, 2002). Roger Davis, Distribution Operations Manager, stated, “The software has provided us with the ability to absorb higher volumes and throughputs while increasing the overall efficiency of the parts supply chain (Anonymous,2002).”
