63 EDUCATION STATISTICAL ABSTRACT 2011 Figure 5.6 indicates that majority of the teachers who moved out were males and these account for 74.04%. The main reason for departure is that most of these teachers transferred to other teaching posts. 5.9 Sports in Secondary Schools 5.9.1 Sports Equipment in Secondary Schools Data on sports equipment available in secondary schools as reported by head teachers was captured and a summary analysis on national totals by type of equipment is presented in Table 5.17 below. However, there is need for more equipment as reported by the school heads and expressed in proportions/percentages.
