For me there is no risk in pursuing this opportunity, but for the company to be told that they were wrong in a major decision, affecting the entire company negatively, may make them rethink considering hiring me in this position. There is very little risk in changing back and there is no real cost or profit loss involved. The reason there is no cost, is because they aren’t having to pay for anything extra or new. And there will be no profit loss, their will actuall be a gain, because their guest counts will rise. This marketing opportunity would make the company look good in the eyes of the public, because they have admitted they made a mistake, and they are trying to fix it. The public relations effect would be incalculable, because a company is trying to fix a wrong. Overall, the financial improvements would be great, because they are lowering the price and making everything all inclusive in one price again. Michael’s Arts & Crafts The reason for pursuing this position is to make the company realize that their decision to go “green” by making all of their coupons, discounts, and promotions will all be electronic, and via e-mail or online is a mistake.
