sure we do not execute innocent people. Okay, Secondly I am going to put forth a referendum that the Reagan administration cannot shut down the Mental Institutions in the 1970’s. My personal opinion is there is a lot of people who should not be in jail or prison if they would have been given the proper mental healthcare they should have received. I know like anything people will always fall through the cracks. However, I feel that the onus should have never been put on the correctional system to house people who should be in a mental institution and not in a jail setting where they could be taken advantage of or hurt by inmates or hurt by people who are looking for easy targets. My priority is to make sure people who are not criminals get the help they need. I think another thing I would look at is Mandatory Sentences. I do not like the fact that some people are doing mandatory sentences. My major problem with Mandatory Sentences is that if everyone is sentenced to the same amount of time without any looks being given to what the actual crime they committed was or what they have done in the past. I don’t feel like the slipper fits every foot and judges should be able to sentence people to what they feel is fair and just. I also would repeal the 3 strikes rule. If a judge wants to sentence a man to 25 to life then let them but do not let some person in Sacramento, Salem, or Olympia make that choice.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
