How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview
In my opinion, beliefs about the origin of the universe plays a large part on
how we live our life. While I agree that Christians see the universe as a
creation of God and have a goal to serve his purpose, I believe that even those
who don't believe in the same creation theory still have a purpose. I hear
phrases like, "the Lord will help me through this" or “God has a plan for me"
and I love the idea that each event in life has symbolism and can be used as a
life guide. Even if we don't accept that God created the universe, we can still
live a similar life as a Christian with a lasting meaning to life. God will accept
us, as he accepts all of his children (Christian Worldview Lecture 101, 2019).

How My Beliefs About Origins Impact My Worldview
Humanity is a gift, therefore appreciation, a will to live for goals, and
gratitude should be given to whoever one may credit creation to. We live in a
remarkable place where our lungs breathe for us and every aspect of our body
is perfected and created to absorb light, produce energy, and thrive. As part of
the humanity aspect, I believe we must not only take care of ourselves, but
our brothers and sisters and our home earth. We need to cherish all that our
home Earth allows and gives back to us. I do think that the spirits created
humanity to take care of earth whether it was Adam or an atom first.
