Brandon J. Crichlow Networks and Protocols Eroshan Jayaweera 10/25/2016 8:42:35 PM Atlas advertising has offices within the state and interstate. Therefore they might be using Metropolitan areas (MAN) within the state. Obviously they might be using LAN for local connectivity in their offices and WAN for interstate connectivity. They might be using Cat 5E or fibre for Physical layer. Ethernet for Data link and TCP IP for Network and Transport. HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, POP for application later. Wide Area Networks are used for large geographic scope, spans hundreds or thousands of miles, and often composed of leased circuits. Networks and protocols Nishithkumar Ileshkumar Patel 10/26/2016 9:52:21 AM As Atlas advertising has multiple regional agencies, first they need to establish a BN and a wide area network (WAN) in order for then to securely share data between the regional offices, in case they have multiple computers in the same building, they would require a local area network That would allow them to share data locally with minimal security breaches, the LAN will be connected to the BN, which will be further connected to a WAN. They can use the IPv4 or the IPv6 connectivity depending on the number of connections required. They will require routers for inter state communication and switches for the local area network. A central server may be used to share data in one place such that all data can be accessiable by everyone from any location. they can use a cat5e cable for LAN connectivity, connected by Ethernet, each computer system should have a unique IP address for data communication within the network, they can use a TCP protocol for the transport layer. RE: Networks and protocols Reshma Ratnani 12/16/2016 11:18:39 PM I agree with you. Set up of a WAN would be costly hence they can opt for a managed wan services which is offered by many of the companies who are pioneer on it and have their own expertise. Companies like Verizon offer wan services across the globe and the security for them is the best as well it would definitely save some time as well as money. Networks and Protocols Manthan Dineshchandra Chauhan 10/26/2016 4:10:19 PM I think Backbone Networks(BNs) have been using to connect and extent some local LANs and even for MAN. For Atlas advertising agency had not BN but their own LAN, which can be used by all, mean individual or manager from differ department to analyse the progress or to get access multiple data of anycomputers which on LAN. LANs are used within an office building and rooms. Then lets
