challenge myself by getting certified in EMDR and returning to school to obtain my Doctorates degree in the field of Mental Health. While achieving my goals, it is of the utmost importance to maintain a healthy life balance. Step 3: Alignment with Social ChangeAlignment with Social ChangeMy Mission statement is: “To live life completely, honestly, and passionately. To provide perfect care, ethically, and nonbiased with compassion and allow me to empathize, not sympathize. To assist in equipping those in need with the tools to help themselves. To remain open-minded and continually seek knowledge while doing my part to be a part of the solution in making this world a better place.

Put faith in the Lord, in Him anything is possible.”As I have previously mentioned, I have been an ER nurse for the past sixteen years, and in that time, I have seen the mental health age range and population multiply exponentially, hence my return to school to obtain my MSN and specialize as an MHNP. My whole purpose, goal, and dream are to be part of a positive social change. As mentioned in my professional development goals,” My ambition is to be part of a positive social change with children and adolescents focusing on their social conditions and positive self-image.” This goal is in direct alignment with Walden’s vision for Social change, “Walden University defines positive social change as a deliberate process of creating and applying ideas, strategies, and actions to promote the worth, dignity, and development of individuals, communities, organizations, institutions, cultures, and societies. Positive social change results in the improvement of human and social conditions” (Walden University, 2019). I am very passionate about the desperate need for a positive social change; and I have committed to be a part of the solution, every day and look forward to completing my MSN expanding my education and clinical training as an MHNP to make a positive difference in humanity and help them see this is a life worth living. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
