Cognitive-Social Learning My behavior is to some degree influenced by cognitive social learning – I learned and adapted a behavior because of social encounters and personal experiences. I believe that my previous experience is responsible for my resentment when it comes to visiting Target. My feelings regarding the supermarket’s setting, as a former worker, spill over into my perceptions about shopping at the local Target ( Kwasnicka et al., 2016). My employment was the only reason for going to the store. I never set foot in the store before being a Target employee. Therefore, I feel that when my employment ended, my desire to be at the store declined. Conclusion All the three theories of learning are different. Cognitive social learning relies on social, personal, and environmental forces to inform behavior. Classical conditioning entails autonomic and involuntary behaviors for instance when unconditioned and unbiased stimuli connect. Operant conditioning on the other hand shapes behavior through punishment or reinforcement. In my case, exposure to various stimuli, environmental factors, and rewards weaken my behavior of visiting Target for my shopping.
