In 2017-Waffle House has generated 1.4-billion-dollar worth of sales and is ranked in the top 50 of the fortune 500 food and beverage list. The company believes in small business economics and pay everything in cash. Many of the units have a seating capacity of 40-55 customers, and the idea is to turn tables really quickly-this is how they make their money. Culture Social media is huge with Waffle House-simply because our advertisement is word of mouth. We understand the value of retention and keeping our associates is always number one on our list. The managers at Waffle House do well as far as financially. According to many food establishments, it is difficult to overtake Waffle House’s objectives towards their culture. A family style restaurant that understands their customers. Leadership Factors Leadership factors are the best attributes for the company. The idea that all upper managers work for the hourly associate holds true. Probably the main reason why managers from units to the top of the chain get rewarded handsomely, financially. There is an open-door policy that channels straight to the area vice president in any location. The managers and leadership all have college degrees for the most part-however, some do not but are groomed from an early age.
