6.Empty Nester:a parent whose children have grown up and left the home.-Ex: My mom since I moved away to buffalo to attend UB. 7.Chaos:lack of consistent rules.-Ex: having 5 kids who do whatever they want and don’t do any chores.8.Implicit: rules that are suggested/implied but not always clear.-Ex: giving your spouse a dirty look when the sink is full of dishes so that they willget the hint to clean them. 9.Homeostasis:a balanced/consistent internal state.-Ex: a teenage girl who has a good relationship with her family and friends, lives in a nice house, and has no stressors in her life.
