• “Overall, Littler is a good big law firm for an associate. We receive a lot of responsibility and relative good work-life balance. However, this last year there were some issues in trying to improve associate morale, which I think that could have been handled significantly better, considering our pay is under market.” Firm Culture • “The atmosphere in my office is collegial and supportive. While I have not had many opportunities to meet colleagues from other offices in person, the attorneys I have worked with via email and phone have been pleasant, for the most part.” • “Even though our office is small and a bit isolated from other offices, we are always included in invitations to firm events from our managing office. Christmas parties are great and the firm offers great training opportunities that involve travel to a fun city and opportunities to meet attorneys from other offices.” • “Not much socializing in my office, though we have organized activities a few times per year. The people are very professional, and have a casual, friendly dynamic.” • “Mostly very nice people, socialization is frequent and friendships develop organically. Firm sponsored social opportunities are fairly limited compared to other firms— just a Christmas party and a summer picnic. There are various trainings, but they don’t leave too much time for socialization. Politics is a non-issue.” Associate/Partner Relations • “The firm is great with transparency about the firm’s finances and performance. While the firm always provides information about internal promotion and performance reviews, that information could be a little more detailed and straightforward. The relationship between shareholders and associates in my office is great. I treat shareholders like my colleagues and they do the same. The only difference between us is title and years of experience but the respect factor is always there.” • “In general, the partners with whom I have worked exhibit a great deal of concern for and investment in the associates. For the most part, demands on work product are high, but partners are willing to take the time to mentor and cultivate relationships.” • “Littler is transparent regarding firm performance and finances, internal promotion and performance reviews. Partners generally treat associates well. Littler holds ‘town hall’ meetings with all associates throughout the year to keep associates informed about firm news, finances, etc. Littler also created an ‘associates committee’ made up of 12 associates who hold meetings and speak on behalf of all associates to ensure that we have a voice in firm meetings.” • “Most of the shareholders I have worked with have treated me with respect. The firm’s leadership has made strides toward more transparency, through regular town hall video conference meetings and informal discussions between shareholders and associates.” Hours • “Flexible work environment and people telework when needed. Face-time is useful when you first start and are establishing relationships with partners, but not obligatory.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
