which can help improve how we manage CDI patients. This study was conducted in an ethical way and all patient information was kept anonymous and confidential. During the interviews the nurses expressed that no matter how burdensome the care for CDI patients can be, the patients were always treated with dignity and respect. The nurses felt extremely empathetic towards the CDI patients and saw an increase in teamwork amongst coworkers. ConclusionAs CDI infections continue to burden nurses, research provides hopeful solutions towardsestablishing nursing practice improvements. Managing the nurse’s workload when dealing with recurrent diarrhea, contact precautions, and frequent hand washing is an integral part towards improving care. Understanding how and what affects the daily care and management of CDI patients will help improve outcomes for the patient and nurse. Reference
