which could give us a lead to who might be questioned. The hair is an individual characteristic as well because it also gives us DNA by testing both hair samples, we can determine what hair belongs to the victim and what hair belongs to the perpetrator. What are their possible class and individual characteristics?Once they have been tested it could lead us to who we should be looking too for answers about how the crime happened. How could you use those in the investigation? We could use this as evidence or question and use it in court as evidence during the trial.DNA analysis – The process of DNA analysis works when two samples are compared it is typically an unknown sample and a known sample and comparing the two to was present at the crime scene. Fingerprint comparison – The process of fingerprint comparison uses a pointer called a ridge counter which is used to count the friction ridges, then analysis determines rather the fingerprint can be used for comparison or not.Hair analysis – Hair analysis uses a sample of a person's hair typically from the back of the neck which is then sent to a laboratory for measurement of its mineral content.I chose these tests to be carried out for the following reasons. I chose DNA because it can be used for all three pieces of evidence, I used by informing us who it belongs to. I chose Hair analysis because it will help us with the unknown Dark/light hair sample and allow us to tell the difference between the
victim and the perpetrator. Fingerprint comparison can be used to compare the fingerprint on the firearm to the fingerprint on the glass to see if they match.
