place to work or the people will not be motivated to work hard and therefore will result in profit loss. Also, you have the idea of their will always be problems within a business, which is true. Never think that there wont be problems because there will be. Weakness: To me, there are not many weaknesses from the naked eye. However, I do not think the approach of executive meetings are open to all employees, and every employee has a stack in the company because that is not fair for someone who doesn’t want that stack! Opinions: I think that Zingermans is on its way to be great! You are already there, just a need tweaks and you will be great. There is already great food, great desserts now just the
management team. But you are already 99% there. Zingermans has a lot to offer, you will be a huge success when it comes down to it in the end. Improvements: In my opinion, I would take out the employees going to executive meeting and just allow them to be employees. I would keep having your thought process of what a business should be able because it is working. Always know that there will be glitches and problems, so don’t get hurt by them. You are already so successful, but I would advertise a little more. TV commercials, radio ads etc, to make it even more known to come here to enjoy a piece of Ann Arbor. Conclusion: My only hope would be for Zingerman’s is too keep doing what you are doing and keep being successful and I hope you get everything you ever dreamed of.
