not exist. They do not want to ruin their utopian life. Furthermore, the final grounds for those choosing to leave the city is the unshakable guilt they feel for the child after they visit it The place they go towards is a place even less ̈ imaginable to most of us than the city of happiness. I cannot describe it at all.It is possible that it does not exist. But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas ( LeGuin5). The ones who left do not know where they are going but they know it is ̈ better than staying in Omelas with guilt¨At times one of the adolescents girls or boys who see the child does not go home to weep or rage, does not,in fact go home at all ( LeGuins5). They leave ̈ because they are scared that could be them they are in shock they are fearful. Over all the people of Omelas are selfish, careless, and heartless people. They know about the poor child and choose to ignore it. The ones who left know they do not fit in because they feel guilt for the child, and can not live there knowing about the child. That is why they leave even if they have no clue where they are going.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
