ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEMS TASK 3 7Another financial implication to the patients goes directly to their pocket books. British citizens have access to healthcare talked about as being free, however the system is actually funded by taxes at about 9% of a person’s income. Though money comes up front through taxes, care is free at point of access. (AIMS, 2018). In the U.S. most people are required to pay some oftheir monthly income towards insurance and then also pay a co-pay at point of access which varies dependent on coverage. It is difficult to say which system is better. More likely neither is better than the other. Each has its benefits and its faults. I believe we could both learn from each other and take the good from each to provide all persons with high quality healthcare.Updated on 6/15/2018
