Discuss how Canadian society shapes the quality and distribution of three of these social determinants of health The concept of improvement of the delivery of the determinants of health happens based on the previous analysis (Raphael, 2009)pg.476. The development calls for exclusive responsibility for the workers to act and face the burdens associated with health in Canada. The following concepts represent ways that address ways in which Canada can address the social determinants of health. i. Community The concept of evaluating the community to improve health entails learning about a problem and sharing the issue with family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. These conversations represent a more powerful concept as compared to the media (Raphael, 2009)pg.483 The community needs to lessen dependence on transactional corporations by production and consumption of more than products. The encouragement of bioregionalism promotes energy saving and reduction of chemical preservatives. The success of health in Canada will need the community to care for the elderly and the less fortunate. ii. Good Governance This strategy lobbies for democracy to ensure people get more control of their lives. The most potent tool for democrats entails state power. There exist the need to elect more progressive leaders that commit efforts to improve the social determinants of health (Raphael, 2009)pg. 483 The government also needs to regulate in the public interest ahead of corporate investment. The leaders will also need to invest heavily in social welfare. iii. Social Movements

Argumentative Paper 5 This concept represents the greatest determiner of change. The social movements entail getting together with people that advocate and lead in the struggle for social change in society. The majority of the work undertaken by these groups includes organization, education, research, and advocacy. The movements organize to reduce the inequality that hinders health care delivery by raising the minimum wage and pushing for basic incomes (Raphael, 2009)pg.483. The campaigns also help in realizing that most of these problems need common cause in the struggle for liberation and reform in the electoral system for better leadership. Identify two groups of Canadians who experience health-promoting social determinants of health? Describe their living and working situations. There exist two groups of people experiencing health-promoting social determinants of health that include ones in need of health service and those with the modifiable and behavioral risk profiles. The two groups constitute high earners and low earners. These people have different working and living conditions in Canada, which contribute significantly to their health patterns and their output in society (Raphael, 2009)pg. 512 These people constitute of low waged workers and those that earn enough salary to sustain their requirements in the community. The social structures shape the conditions and wages, and the output determines the political influence and responsiveness of society. The low waged workers will have a less political impact
