Just in time practices are used when possible. Intermediate and Short-term Scheduling Throughout the organization the working hours vary by departments. The hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 9am until 5pm. The scheduling hours are combined with workers in America and Russia. Russia is eight hours ahead of us based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). So, when the US workers are reporting to work at 8am it is 4pm in Russia and they are getting off of work and vice versa. There is an on-call rotation process set up so that the clients are always covered and in case any emergencies arise someone is able to handle the situation and get it handle quickly. ServiceCentral also utilizes Ring Central for after hour Support services, the on-call support person monitors and listens to the voice messages and calls the clients back to resolve the issue. There is a scheduling system set up that was designed by me that allows the employees to put in for vacation time, emergency leave, and sick days when needed. Priority dispatching will be used for job assignments. ServiceCentral does not use a First Come First served, shortest processing time or earliest due date process. Anything deemed as critical gets processed first. Maintenance Management The home office location has their own maintenance department onsite. They perform system updates, deployments, and maintenance of computer equipment. They are also tasked 8 | P a g e

ServiceCentral also monitors email alerts because we are responsible for maintaining and servicing our servers making sure that the uptime remains constant so that it does not interrupt the work flow of our clients. Recommendations The main recommendation I see is the need to have the Tech Support Analyst travel to the various facilities to learn about the different clients and gain knowledge from hands on. The Tech Support Analyst will be the go-to person who will build reports for the client, trouble shoot any problems that may occur as well as add statues to the already built program. If the Analyst is allowed to be a part of the discovery process, the process where the clients needs are assessed, they will be a part of the process from grounds up and will have a better understand of what the
