To close the lesson I reviewed the coin chart for a second time with the whole class. I then asked independent questions about a coin and once that student answered, he or she would ask another student chosen at randomly about a coin. For example, I asked Lizzy, “ What is the value of a quarter?” when she answered, she asked Alberto, “ which coin had a value of ten cents?” This activity was very fun to close a lesson and it reinforced what was previously taught. EDUC 301 Student Involvement Were you able to involve all students in the learning process? How? Why or why not? Students were very involved in the lesson. Students were exited to learn about money. Many of them said, “ I want to learn about money so I can count and buy new toys”. This made my day because they found their own motivation to learn about the value of money. They were also involved in the distribution of materials and sharing ideas through the discussion prior the lesson. Students were very entertained with this lesson since they had so much to do, they did not find any reason to even get distracted. Teacher/Student Interaction How was your rapport among students? Were you able to interact? Why or why not? I love to interact with each student personally throughout each lesson. Students are all well-mannered and respectful, they all did a great job in following instructions. I was able to perfectly interact with each and one of them without any issues. Some students needed repetition on some information, so I worked one on one with those students; the results were positive, they each learned the lesson appropriately. Student Achievement How can you prove that students met the objective of your lesson? Students did a marvelous performance during the individual questions asked. Each student was also able to match each question correctly in the worksheet provided for the assessment. Only two out of the w hol e class misses one question in the whole worksheet. That prove d that each student understood the lesson and met the learning objective of the lesson. My Areas of Strength My Areas Which Will Require Future Growth Great interaction with the students More variety of material prepared for differentiation instruction Preparation and organization Good time management Page 3 of 5

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
