Benefits of Diversity “The concept of diversity is to understand the differences of others pertaining to ethnicity, age, race, disability or gender” (Carter, 2017). The benefits within diversity can positively benefit both the organization and the employee. The employee is interdependent and by the employer showing that it respects their cultural difference, then it will tremendously increase the worker productivity. Not to mention, respecting the diversity of the work environment will lower the risk of discrimination lawsuits, and instead; it would increase the image of the company, encourage more marketing opportunities, recruit highly skilled professionals and enhance the creativity of both the worker and working environment. “Diversity is critical for an organization to achieve longevity because in modern society it requires the company to be flexible and creative” (Martin, 2014).
