Lemai Nguyen, Siew Mee Barton, and Linh Thuy Nguyen, the authors of the journal article Ipads in Higher Education—Hype and Hope, studied the use of iPads in a classroom for both students and staffs. The authors focused on how iPad’s has gained popularity for learning. “Students were found to hold a positive attitude about using iPad in their learning. Although iPadwas found to motive students’ learning some resistance was found because it could create a distraction” (L.Nguyen, Barton, T. Nguyen, 2014). Students found academics to be exciting with the use of iPads and its mobile apps. Although iPad was found to be a good tool to enhance students’ learning experiences, iPad was found to be a great distractor to students because of its instant access to internet resources and mobile apps. One can see that iPads can lead to several benefits in the future. iPads can be used as a tool to motivate learners and learn in the digital m-learning world.
